“He’s going to upset a lot of people” – Fitness Volt

The hype surrounding Slovakian mass monster Michal Krizo continues to grow, with bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler being the latest to take notice. In a recent video, Cutler got his first glimpse of Krizo and thinks the giant bodybuilder is going to shake up the Open class sooner rather than later.

Krizo’s muscle mass and size are some of his biggest attributes as a bodybuilder. He has used these qualities to succeed in the IFBB Elite Pro League over the past few years. Krizo won the title at the Arnold Classic Europe Elite Pro 2021 show. Additionally, he picked up another gold trophy after winning the Mr. Universe competition last October.

Earlier this month, Michal Krizo began his campaign for 2022 Olympia by moving from the IFBB Elite Pro League to the NPC. His intention is to earn his Pro card in the NPC first, before winning a contest in the IFBB Pro League. With those lofty goals in the rearview mirror, his plan is to storm the Olympia stage and win the prestigious show on his first attempt.

Cutler, a four-time Mr. Olympia winner, recently had the chance to visit Krizo after the Open class contender flew to America to facilitate the NPC transition. Given his talent for the finer details of the sport, Cutler’s opinion weighs heavily in the bodybuilding community. After taking a first look at Krizo, the former Mr. Olympia had a stark warning for the rest of the Men’s Open landscape.

Jay Cutler’s first impressions of Michal Krizo’s physique

In a recent YouTube video, the bodybuilding legend gave his immediate reaction to Michal Krizo’s physique after striking a few obligatory poses.

After exchanging pleasantries, Cutler asked Krizo when he was planning to come to the IFBB Pro League.

“So when are you coming?” Jay Cutler asked Michal Krizo.

“After the Prague Pro.” Chris replied

According to Cutler, if Krizo can maintain his form and structure, he will “upset a lot of people” in the Men’s Open division. Additionally, Cutler praised Michal for his impressive shoulder streaks and the fact that he looks so tall and conditioned so far from 2022 Mr. Olympia.

“He’s going to upset a lot of people, especially looking this good this far. Impressive. He looks great. Round. Detailed. He’s good with that shot [side triceps], lots of streaks here, which a lot of guys don’t have. Lots of details.” Cutler shared.

Slovak bodybuilder Adela Ondrejovicova also recently switched to the NPC. Ondrejovicova quickly impressed in her new league earning her Pro card. With her recent success, she had the opportunity to compete against other IFBB pros.

Adela took her talents to Finland Pro 2022 last weekend and won the show, earning her invitation to compete at Olympia later this year. Both Ondrejovicova and Krizo are under the same coach, so many fans expect a lot from him given his teammate’s ability to successfully transition.

With big shoes to fill, Krizo recently met decorated bodybuilder and trainer Milos “The Mind” Sarcev. Milos was very impressed with the rising bodybuilder and stressed that Krizo is “100% committed to making an impact in our federation” in the months ahead. In addition, the newcomer also visited the East Coast mecca for bodybuilding, the Bev Francis Powerhouse Gym, located in Syosset, New York.

Cutler isn’t the only veteran surprised by Krizo’s potential. 1983 Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout named Krizo as one of Nick Walker’s biggest threats. He believes the Slovak native has a V-taper and bigger arms, which are among Walker’s most notable strengths as a competitor. Speaking of Olympia 2022, Bannout said if Krizo is fit, he “guarantees he will be in the top three”.

Although he has competed in the IFBB Elite Pro League for most of his career, Krizo and “The Mutant” have a history. After Walker won the 2021 Arnold Classic title, Krizo criticized his winning physique. He added that Walker lacked symmetry in his build and explained that size isn’t everything when competing. However, over time, Krizo recanted his statements about Walker.
