Hollands said her diet heading into the contest was “pretty boring”. At 9am, he consumes two meals – whey and oats for breakfast and chicken and broccoli with rice for the second meal. Meal prep has been fundamental to her ability to follow her diet, as the convenience of pre-prepared meals provides fewer hurdles when weighing her food. He has been eating the same food for two and a half months while reducing weight.

It’s easier for me to eat the same things every day. I don’t eat for fun.

The regularity with which he eats his food every day, including specific foods, also makes it easier for him to adjust his macros as needed. An example of this second meal mentioned above includes 180 grams of grilled chicken breast, 200 grams of rice, and a handful of broccoli stalks (about 50 grams). Hollands’ isn’t afraid to add more vegetables to his meals for bulk if he’s feeling hungry, citing that their caloric values are low and their nutritional value is high.

Hollands performs incline dumbbell presses, cable flies, dumbbell flies, incline machine presses with three 45-pound weight plates on each sleeve and the pec deck for chest day. We’ll see how his posing routine pans out in front of the judges when he takes the stage in Leeds on May 8.
