AJ shows ripped frame before fight – GiveMeSport

Antoine Joshua continues his preparation for his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

He took to instagram to show off his new physique as he seeks to set the record straight and exact revenge on Usyk and regain his belts.

The 32-year-old attended his training camp with him now under new coaches. Angel Fernandez and Robert Garcia are the new names in AJ’s corner as he looks to find his way back to winning ways.

Joshua is clearly being worked hard on by the new duo, with him sharing a photo of him getting a massage on his Instagram story, captioning it with: “A quiet moment.”

It’s a new era for Joshua, not only will this be his first fight after leaving longtime cornerman Rob McCracken, but it will also be his first fight with the DAZN stable after leaving Sky Sports.

He joins Eddie Hearn in changing the UK broadcast powerhouse for newcomer DAZN, who is really making huge strides with boxing.

AJ has moved to Loughborough for training, completing a complete overhaul including developing a new physique as he appears to be in the best possible shape.

His plan is to return to a brutal and aggressive approach, seeking to make a comeback by leaving his mark on the appearance of those who enter the ring with him.

During the claims, he said, “I saw he had a sliced scar over his eye, from me. Thinking back, I’ve cut out a few people’s faces in my career; Paul Butlin, Usyk, I split Kubrat Pulev’s lip.

“I just brushed off Andy Ruiz, he doesn’t count because I mean good smashing faces. I like that kind of stuff.

“One of my strengths was my power, but I’ve always wanted to follow this path of being a clean ‘hit and not be hit’ boxer, especially if I want to have a long and successful career.

“You have to have a good defense but I walked away from the fierce side of boxing where I knew I could punch and stun people and I miss the days of having to open up people’s faces and hurt them, that’s sure.

“So I can’t wait to get back to it.” It clearly looks like Joshua vs Usyk 2 is going to be a fight no one wants to miss.
